This section provides detailed explanations and examples for each term you'll encounter in a Coach's Call.

TermMeaning & Example
🛡️HelpingThis refers to the positive components of your meal that support your eating goals. These are the parts worth emphasizing or protecting.
Example: Your lunch includes a generous portion of lean protein and a variety of colorful vegetables. The Coach identifies these as "Helping" elements.
⚠️TipA "Tip" is any part of your meal that, in its current form or portion, might be working against your eating goals. This doesn't mean it's "bad," but rather an area where a small adjustment could make a difference.
Example: A large side of fried potatoes with your meal might be flagged as a "Tip."
🗣️Coach's CallThis is the core of your FastSnap feedback: one specific decision or recommendation, along with a clear reason. It's designed to be actionable and easy to understand.
Example: "Coach's Call: Swap" indicates a recommendation to replace a specific item.
✅AlignedWhen your meal is "Aligned," it means it fits well with your current eating direction. This is a pattern worth recognizing and repeating. It signifies that you're on track!
Example: A balanced dinner with ample vegetables, a moderate portion of whole grains, and a lean protein will likely be "Aligned."
🛡️Keep"Keep" is a directive to continue including or protecting a "Helping" part of your meal. It reinforces good choices and encourages consistency.
Example: If your breakfast includes a serving of fruit, the Coach might say "Keep the fruit" to highlight its beneficial contribution.
➖LeaveTo "Leave" means to remove a "Tip" from your meal entirely. This is often recommended when an item significantly detracts from your goals.
Example: If a sugary drink is identified as a "Tip," the Coach might suggest you "Leave the sugary drink" for a more supportive option.
🚫Skip"Skip" is a proactive recommendation to not choose or add a "tipping" item in the first place. It's about making a better choice before the meal is even assembled.
Example: Before ordering, if a heavy dessert is a known "Tip," the Coach might advise you to "Skip the heavy dessert" from your order.
🤝Share"Share" suggests reducing the portion size of an item identified as a "Tip." This allows you to still enjoy the food while managing its impact on your goals.
Example: Instead of leaving a favorite high-calorie appetizer, the Coach might recommend you "Share the appetizer" with a friend to reduce your portion.
🔄Swap"Swap" means to replace a "Tip" with a more suitable alternative, allowing the meal to remain complete and satisfying. It's about substitution for improvement.
Example: You might be advised to "Swap fried chicken for grilled chicken" to reduce fat while keeping protein content.
➕Add"Add" encourages you to bring in missing "Helping" components to enhance the nutritional balance of your meal.
Example: If your meal is low on vegetables, the Coach might suggest you "Add a side salad" to boost your fiber intake.
🎯One MoveThis powerful concept emphasizes making the smallest, most impactful, and most repeatable change. FastSnap focuses on one move at a time to build sustainable habits.
Example: Instead of trying to change five things about your meal, the Coach might identify "Swap for grilled" as the "One Move" to focus on first.
✏️Tell the CoachThis feature allows you to provide targeted correction or additional context for what the FastSnap camera or AI couldn't fully understand about your meal. Your input helps improve accuracy.
Example: If you only ate half of a dish, you can "Tell the Coach" that you consumed a smaller portion than initially identified.
