FastSnap is developed and supported by Henry Pui Yip Chan (Hong Kong), so you'll receive a response from a real person rather than an automated support system.

Account & Sign-in

You can use FastSnap without creating an account by scanning anonymously, or sign in using a secure email magic link—no password required.

If your magic link doesn't arrive:

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address.
  • Request a new link if the previous one has expired.

Signing in with the same email lets you keep your scan history and profile across supported devices.

Scan Limits

FastSnap currently includes a scan allowance to help us manage service capacity while we're growing.

Your remaining scans are shown in the app. If you reach the limit, you'll be able to scan again once your allowance resets.

A Scan Looks Wrong

FastSnap uses AI to recognize food from a single photo. While it's usually accurate, results are estimates and may occasionally be incorrect—especially when:

  • The photo is blurry or too dark.
  • Part of the meal is outside the frame.
  • Multiple people are sharing food.
  • Ingredients are hidden or covered.

For the best results:

  • Take photos in good lighting.
  • Capture the entire plate.
  • Avoid heavy shadows or motion blur.

If a result is clearly incorrect, you can edit the meal in the app. We'd also appreciate hearing about it at support@fastsnap.ai—your feedback helps improve future recognition.
